Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a senior operations leader for the Mid-Revenue Cycle, focusing on facility coding and denials. The role centers on leading daily operations, driving efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with clinical, IT, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Mid-Revenue Cycle knowledge and experience with facility coding, HIM workflows.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory requirements and coding classification systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Experience in leadership within a large healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations within the assigned function area, ensuring alignment with divisional and enterprise-wide goals.
• Evaluate processes to improve efficiency, enhance productivity, and support standardized best practices across the Mid-Revenue Cycle.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and confidentiality of patient records; report non-compliance.
• Use KPIs to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Leverage healthcare technology and analytics tools to enhance efficiency and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, IT, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle leaders to align goals.
• Manage and develop a team through hiring, performance reviews, and development opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and drive system enhancements.
