Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 roadside cases from start to finish. You will determine whether to deploy an internal technician or a third party, and address issues stemming from maintenance, OEM quality, or system failures.

The role requires strong technical knowledge and effective problem-solving to restore uptime. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm EST.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in Ryder operations (shop) environment preferred.
• 2+ years in Ryder operations direct customer service exposure preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• 2+ years in technical diagnostic and customer resolution exposure required.
• ASE certifications

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide on internal technician call-out or third-party work.
• Resolve technical problems on Ryder lease/contract vehicles.
• Provide updates to maintenance team and mentor Tier 1 call center.
• Assist with follow-ups, escalations, and service provider interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
