Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 roadside cases from start to finish. You will decide whether to dispatch internal techs or third parties and resolve complex vehicle issues using strong maintenance knowledge and diagnostic skills.

You will mentor the Tier 1 team, provide updates to the maintenance group, and stay current with OEM information and internal trainings to improve uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred (ASE).
• 5+ years Ryder shop/operations experience preferred.
• 2+ years customer service exposure preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• 2+ years diagnostic/customer resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide on internal technician vs third‑party work.
• Resolve vehicle mechanical/electrical issues via phone guidance.
• Provide updates and training to maintenance team.
