Leidos Inc is seeking Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers for multiple positions, centered on electric transmission design for HV and EHV systems. Opportunities span project leadership, PLS-CADD reviews, and documentation for procurement and construction.

The roles require a civil or mechanical engineering background with 4+ to 8+ years of experience, including leadership for the Lead position. 100% remote work is available, with MT‑aligned hours preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering with 4+ years’ design experience for transmission systems.
• Lead level requires 8+ years’ experience and 2+ years of leadership, mentorship, or supervisory work.

Responsabilités

• Review full transmission line designs including PLS-CADD models, foundations, materials, plans and profiles.
• Prepare bidding documents, drafts, and construction packages; interface with clients and project teams.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, proposals; coordinate with environmental, permitting and construction teams.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members; travel up to 10–15% if needed.
