Leidos is seeking Senior and Lead Transmission Line Engineers to join a fast-paced team solving challenging problems in electric transmission design. Roles involve HV/EHV overhead and underground projects for major utilities, applying NESC and ASCE standards, and preparing construction packages.

The positions require a Bachelor’s in civil or mechanical engineering with 4+ years (senior) or 8+ years (lead), including leadership experience. 100% remote within the U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering with 4+ years in electric utility transmission design.
• Lead level requires 8+ years in transmission design with 2+ years of leadership.
• Experience reviewing full transmission designs and PLS-CADD models.

Aufgaben

• Design HV and EHV overhead and underground transmission systems.
• Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI and other standards to designs and plans.
• Prepare bidding documents, specifications, and procurement packages.
• Interface with clients and project teams, and manage schedules and budgets.
• Travel up to 10–15% may be required.
