Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers to design HV and EHV transmission systems for major utilities. You will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI standards, draft plans, and prepare construction packages, while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary Leidos team.

Qualifications include 4+ years in transmission design (senior) or 8+ years with leadership (lead), plus experience with PLS-CADD, GO95 where applicable, and strong client communication. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering with 4+ years’ relevant transmission experience.
• PE license or EIT preferred; strong knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC and ASCE.
• Ability to develop scopes, budgets, proposals and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Design electric utility transmission lines, including PLS-CADD models.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specs, and construction packages.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams; potential travel up to 10-15%.
