Job summary

Leidos is seeking Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers to work on HV and EHV overhead and underground projects for major utilities. You will apply standards (NESC, ASCE, ACI) and deliver designs, analyses, and construction packages in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Remote-friendly within the U.S.; MT-aligned hours preferred. Strong PLS-CADD, foundation analysis tools, and AutoCAD skills are required, with leadership experience for those at Lead level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering; 4+ years for Mid-Senior level, 8+ years for Lead level in electric utility transmission design.
• Experience reviewing transmission line designs and PLS-CADD models; knowledge of NESC/ACI/AISC/ASCE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze HV/EHV transmission lines and underground systems.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans, specs, procurement and construction packages.
• Interface with clients, project planning, environmental and construction teams.
