Job summary

FNTS is seeking a Sr. IBM iSeries Engineer to maintain customer IBM i environments, plan migrations, and support system backups with BRMS, MIMIX, and related tools. The role emphasizes independent work, strong problem solving, and collaboration with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• IBM iSeries System Administration with 10+ years experience.
• Experience with BRMS, MIMIX/iTera, and PowerHA.
• Experience TCP/IP in IPv4 (IPv6 desired).
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and requests with in-depth analysis and solutions to meet SLAs.
• Review issues to proactively avoid future problems as part of Continuous Improvement.
• Maintain IBM i OS and LPPs; write system documentation.
• Assist customers in migration to FNTS or remote management setup.
