Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Business Developer to lead customer engagement for our 72.5-145 kV Dead Tank Circuit Breakers.

This remote US role combines product management and sales, aligning f-gas-free, digital-ready DTB solutions with evolving utility needs and market leadership. You will shape go-to-market plans, drive homologation, and influence product evolution while collaborating with the Product Marketing Director and Global Portfolio Management of Grid Components.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
10+ years of experience with high voltage equipment, preferably circuit breakers or substation components.
Deep understanding of US sub-transmission applications and utility processes.
Proven experience in technical sales, product management, or business development.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with vacuum interrupter technology and SF6-free solutions/regulation.
Familiarity with IEEE/ANSI standards for HV products.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
