Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a remote ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud-hosted environments. You will manage site configuration, testing, and post-cut support while collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering or technical deployment, strong cloud and network skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% across the U.S. and internationally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering or technical deployment experience.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported and assigned ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based apps.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production deployment.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution and cloud configurations during deployment.
• Ensures installation issues are resolved promptly.
• Contributes to methods for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
