Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployments of ECH on-premise and cloud-hosted solutions. You will configure, test, and validate installations, and provide post-cut support for production environments.

Remote role with extensive travel (US and international). Requires strong network, server, and cloud skills, plus telephony and SIP proficiency to optimize ECH integrations.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology is required.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environment.
• Proficiency with cloud-based troubleshooting and AD/SSO.
• Experience with VMWare ESXi and Hyper-V.
• Experience with SQL Server and Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions (hybrid cloud and SaaS).
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides customer and partner support during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Participates in cloud migration/MOP development and approvals.
• Supports pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
