Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to deploy and support ECH solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will configure systems, perform site verifications, and manage connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud apps.

This is a remote position with up to 75% travel across the US and internationally, involving customer and partner engagements, MOP development, and ongoing documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher in IT/Engineering/CS.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Configure system for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Conduct site verification testing before production.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-site and cloud environments.
• Provide support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Resolve installation/quality issues promptly.
• Develop and approve cloud migration and system upgrade procedures.
• Support pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain skills in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
