Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployments of ECH solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments. The role reports to the ECH Field Engineer Manager and requires hands‑on configuration, testing, cutovers, and post‑cut support.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the US with significant travel, collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful production deployments and smooth cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner; Network+ and Security+ credentials are desirable.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with virtualization: RedHat KVM, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of Linux, Cisco IOS, and basic firewall/ router concepts.
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Conducts site verification testing before production cutovers.
• Configures connectivity between on-site infra and cloud environments.
• Provides production deployment support to customers and partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Resolves installation and quality issues promptly.
• Contributes to MVPs for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
