Job summary

Colliers seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support a multinational client within our Enterprise Project Management service line. You will develop budgets, manage costs across all project stages, and work with PMs to optimize value.

Requires 10+ years in cost estimating, knowledge of industrial benchmarks, and proficiency in BIM or cost databases. Remote, US-wide locations supported, with annual bonus eligibility and strong collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Special knowledge in typical cost benchmarks for industrial buildings (manufacturing, testing, R&D facilities, warehouses, offices).
• Ability to critically review and challenge presented cost plans for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for effective cost management procedures.
• Guide and support project managers by defining budgets for construction projects based on requirements, procurement strategy and contract type.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates in various stages from preliminary to detailed.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash-out plans.
• Leverage cost and time effective construction methods to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support PM in value engineering, price and claim negotiations with the General Contractor.
• Collaborate with Project Manager for overall project success and client growth targets.
