Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator for a global client, operating in a remote capacity from multiple US locations. You will lead cost estimation, budgeting, and value engineering across industrial and office construction projects with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cost estimating, strong knowledge of BIM and cost databases, and international project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and cost influencing factors.
• Ability to review and challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy.
• Understanding of contract types to consult on contract management topics.
• Must have international experience working on industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases.
• Skills in tools such as RIB iTwo or CostX.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Guide PMs in defining budgets for construction projects.
• Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
• Leverage cost-efficient methods to deliver on time and budget.
• Support PM with value engineering, pricing, and negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with PMs for project success.
