Job summary

Colliers seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support a large multinational client within Enterprise Project Management. This role focuses on cost estimation, budgeting, and value engineering across pre- and post-contract phases, working remotely from various US locations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 10+ years in cost estimating, and strong knowledge of industrial cost benchmarks, BIM, and CostX or related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 10+ years in cost estimating and cost management (pre- and post-contract).
• Knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial facilities and cost drivers.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy.
• Understanding of major contract types and open-book costing concepts.
• International experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases.
• Self-starter with structured, organized working style.
• Experience with CostX or similar tools (RIB iTwo, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Provide budgets for construction projects based on requirements and procurement strategy.
• Identify cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed stages.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts and reports.
• Support value engineering and negotiations with General Contractors.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
