Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support our Global Occupier Services with expert cost estimation for large industrial and office projects. You will define budgets, oversee pre- and post-contract costs, and guide PMs across multiple regions to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years in cost estimating, strong BIM/CostX/RIB iTwo proficiency, and international project experience. Remote role with diverse US locations and annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre- and post-contract).
• Experience with industrial/construction cost benchmarks and market factors.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy prior to approval.
• Understanding of contract types (e.g., Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, BTS-Lease).
• Experience on international projects.
• Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with BIM, CostX, or RIB iTwo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost management processes for projects.
• Support PMs and the real estate team with accurate budgets.
• Identify cost risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Estimate costs across project life cycle from pre- to post-.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts.
• Apply cost- and time-efficient construction methods to meet targets.
• Support value engineering and negotiations with contractors.
• Collaborate closely with PMs for project success.
