Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support a multinational client within our Enterprise Project Management service line. Work will be performed remotely from various locations and will serve as a subject matter expert for cost management across project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 10+ years in cost estimating. Proficiency with BIM and cost databases is expected, along with experience in diverse contracts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Special knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial buildings.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy.
• Knowledge of contract types (DBB, Design & Build, Open Book/cost plus).
• Must have international experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience with BIM and cost databases.
• Structured, organized, self-starter.
• Experience with RIB iTwo or CostX or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Guide PMs in defining budgets for construction projects.
• Identify significant cost risks and mitigation measures.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts.
• Leverage cost-effective construction methods to meet timelines and budgets.
• Support PM in value engineering, price, and claim negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager for project success.
