Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support our Enterprise Project Management service line for a large multinational client. The role is remote with duties spanning pre- to post-construction cost estimation and budget definition across global projects.

You will apply cost data and market insights, collaborate with PMs, and lead cost control efforts to ensure projects meet time and budget targets. A strong background in industrial construction and BIM is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; concentration in construction management, engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract) required.
• Special knowledge in typical cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and relevant cost influencing factors.
• Ability to review and challenge cost plans for quality and accuracy before management approval.
• Understanding of contract types (e.g., Design-Bid-Build to Design & Build, Open Book) to advise project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for effective cost management procedures.
• Oversee internal construction activities for Client worldwide; guide and support as Cost Estimator and assist PMs in defining budgets.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates in all project life-cycle stages from preliminary to detailed.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash flow.
