Job summary

Colliers International is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Estimator for a multinational industrial and office client within our Enterprise Project Management service line. You will provide expert cost estimates across project lifecycles to support project managers and the real estate team.

The role requires 10+ years in cost estimating, BS in construction management or related field, and international project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre- and post-contract).
• Special knowledge of typical cost benchmarks for industrial buildings (manufacturing, testing, R&D facilities, warehouses, offices).
• International experience working on industrial construction projects.
• Proven ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Familiarity with contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, BTS-Lease).
• Experience with BIM and cost databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for effective cost management procedures.
• Provide budgets for construction projects based on requirements, procurement strategy, contract type, and regional codes.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Provide cost estimates in various stages of the project life cycle from preliminary to detailed.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash-out plans.
• Support PM in value engineering, price negotiations, and change management with the contractor.
• Collaborate closely with PM for overall project success.
