Job summary

Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks a Senior Cost Estimator for a large multinational client. The role supports project managers and the real estate team across the account to develop budgets and manage costs.

You will establish cost management processes, identify risks, and assist in value engineering to keep projects on time and within budget. This role requires international experience and strong contracting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and related factors.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Understanding of contract types (pre-construction partnering, Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, open book).
• Must have international experience on industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes for projects.
• Guide and support PMs in defining budgets based on project requirements and procurement strategy.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed stages of the life cycle.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash-out plans.
• Support PMs in value engineering, price negotiations, and contractor discussions.
• Collaborate closely with PMs to achieve client growth targets.
