Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst I to serve as the first line of defense against cyber threats. You will monitor security dashboards, respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and document actions in ConnectWise.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• 3-5 years in an IT role including log analysis, account/access management, or endpoint troubleshooting.
• Full-time role requiring attendance during scheduled hours; no outside employment.
• CySA+, GCIH, or SC-200 (or actively pursuing).
• Hands-on exposure to at least one EDR/SIEM platform (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Experience using ConnectWise Manage for ticket documentation with timestamped incident notes.
• Familiarity with SIEM log correlation, Windows Event Viewer logs, or ticketing alert queues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security dashboards and alerts to detect threats.
• Perform initial investigations and rapid response actions like securing user accounts.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 Analysts with clear information.
• Review and implement routine changes to security tools.
• Collaborate with the security team and engineers.
• Communicate with users/clients to gather details and provide guidance.
• Coordinate with other teams to respond to incidents.
• Document investigations, actions, and resolutions in ConnectWise.
• Provide professional security-related support to clients.
