Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. seeks a Security Analyst I to be the first line of defense against cyber threats. You will monitor alerts, investigate activity, secure accounts, and document actions to protect client assets. This full-time remote role offers travel as needed and a rotating on-call schedule.

You will interact with clients and internal teams, perform incident triage, manage security tools, and maintain clear audit-ready records in ConnectWise. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in Cybersecurity.
• 3–5 years in IT with log analysis or endpoint troubleshooting.
• Full-time role with consistent hours; no outside employment.
• CySA+, GCIH, or SC-200 (or pursuing).
• Hands-on with at least one EDR/SIEM platform (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel).
• Experience using ConnectWise Manage for ticket documentation with audit-ready notes.
• Familiar with SIEM log correlation or Windows Security log IDs (4624/4625/4648).
• Detail-oriented with proactive, customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, queues, and alerts to detect threats.
• Investigate security alerts, secure user accounts, and collect log data for analysis.
• Escalate complex cases to Level 2 Analysts with clear information.
• Manage routine security tool changes and client exemptions in EDR or testing.
• Collaborate with security team and engineers to coordinate responses.
• Communicate with end-users/clients during incident resolution.
• Document investigations and actions in ConnectWise; maintain audit trails.
