Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. is hiring a Security Analyst I to serve as the first line of defense against cyber threats. You will monitor alerts, investigate incidents, secure accounts, and document actions within ConnectWise.

You’ll collaborate with security engineers and other teams, communicate with clients, and participate in rotating on-call coverage. This full-time role offers remote work with occasional travel and a 4-on/3-off schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cybersecurity experience.
• 3–5 years in an IT role including log analysis, account/access management, or endpoint troubleshooting.
• Full-time role requiring full alertness and reliable attendance during scheduled hours; no outside employment.
• CySA+, GCIH, or SC-200 (or actively pursuing).
• Hands-on experience with at least one EDR/SIEM platform (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Defender, Sentinel).
• Direct hands-on experience using ConnectWise Manage for ticket documentation with timestamped incident notes.
• Familiarity with SIEM log correlation, Windows Event Viewer security logs, or ticketing-based alert queues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, queues, and alerts to detect threats.
• Investigate security alerts and secure user accounts.
• Escalate complex cases with concise information to Level 2 analysts.
• Review and implement routine changes to security tools.
• Collaborate with security engineers and team members.
• Communicate with end-users/clients to gather details and explain procedures.
• Coordinate with other teams (NOC, Reactive Support, Client Strategy).
• Maintain detailed investigation records in ConnectWise.
• Provide timely security-related support to clients.
