Job summary

American Girl, a subsidiary of Mattel, is seeking Seasonal Retail Service Agents to support our peak season from September through early January. This fully remote position requires a home-based workspace in Wisconsin or Illinois and a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

You will assist customers by phone and email with purchases, reservations, and service-related questions, aiming for first-contact resolution and personalized support while safeguarding data security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred (call center, consumer services, or retail).
• Must be able to attend up to 10 days of virtual training prior to start.
• Training schedule: 25–40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:30–16:30 CDT or 17:00–22:00 CDT, subject to change.
• Must reside in Wisconsin or Illinois and work from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service via phone and email.
• Resolve customer issues with a focus on first-contact resolution.
• Process orders and inquiries while protecting confidential information.
• Document interactions accurately in company systems.
• Maintain knowledge of American Girl products, services, and policies.
• Meet quality, productivity, attendance targets and participate in special projects.
