Job summary

American Girl, a subsidiary of Mattel, is hiring Seasonal Retail Service Agents for peak season. This fully remote role supports customers by phone and email, handling inquiries, purchases, reservations, and issue resolution with a focus on first-contact resolution.

Training is mandatory and occurs before working hours. The position is temporary, with hours varying and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in call center, retail support, or similar environment.
• Must be able to attend mandatory virtual training up to 10 days.
• Must be available for a training schedule of 25–40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CDT or 5:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. CDT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service reflecting American Girl and Mattel values.
• Assist customers via phone and email with inquiries, purchases, reservations, orders, and service concerns.
• Research and resolve issues, aiming for first-contact resolution.
• Use multiple systems and tools to provide accurate information and solutions.
• Process orders accurately while protecting confidential data.
• Document interactions in company systems and maintain product knowledge.
