Job summary

American Girl, a premium brand and subsidiary of Mattel, seeks Seasonal Retail Service Agents to support peak season from September through early January. This fully remote, work-from-home role serves customers via phone and email, ensuring high-quality experiences while respecting confidentiality.

Training is mandatory and conducted virtually, with flexible hours before and after training. Employees must reside in Wisconsin or Illinois and work from a home address provided during hiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in call center or retail support.
• Must be able to attend mandatory virtual training up to 10 days.
• Must be available for a 25–40 hour training week, Mon–Fri, 8:30–16:30 CDT or 17:00–22:00 CDT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email.
• Assist customers with retail experiences, product inquiries, purchases, reservations, and service-related concerns.
• Research and resolve customer issues with goal of first-contact resolution.
• Document customer interactions and transactions in company systems.
• Maintain knowledge of American Girl products, services, and policies.
