Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking individuals to handle customer inquiries about goods and services via phone, email and chat, on a work-from-home basis.

Join our temporary team supporting holiday orders, with BYOD requirements, a reliable home setup, and shifts between 8:00am-10:00pm EST; $14/hour plus $1 night/weekend differential, 20-40 hours per week. Position may extend beyond Christmas pending attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months customer service experience preferred
• 3–6 months call center or office background beneficial
• Basic computer skills required
• Able to work independently
• Strong phone skills and active listening
• Must be 18 years of age
• Background check required by state and federal laws

Responsibilities

• Handle large volumes of inbound/outbound calls promptly
• Address customer questions on products and services via phone, email, chat
• Follow scripted procedures for topics
• Identify needs, clarify information, research and offer solutions
• Access company resources to resolve calls
• Upsell products when opportunities arise
• Switch tasks smoothly without losing efficiency
• Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
• Remain positive and professional in all interactions
• Cross-train as requested
