Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking agents to handle customer inquiries for holiday orders, offering a BYOD, work-at-home setup for residents across multiple states, including North Carolina. The role pays $14 per hour with a $1 night/weekend differential and requires flexibility within 8:00am–10:00pm EST, Mon-Fri with every other weekend.

Paid training typically 1–3 days, 9:00am–6:00pm EST. Temporary status with 20–40 hours weekly; there is potential to convert to full-time or part-time employment

Qualifications

• 3-6 months customer service or customer support experience preferred.
• 3-6 months call center or office background experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Quick learner and able to work independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• A background check required by state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of inbound or outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Address customer questions and concerns on all products and services via phone, email, and chat.
• Follow scripts when handling different topics.
• Identify customer needs, clarify information, research and provide solutions or alternatives.
• Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls.
• Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.
• Be available at desk, maintain punctuality and attendance.
• Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions.
• Cross train as requested.
