Job summary

Five Star Solutions is hiring for a Bring Your Own Device, work-at-home role serving customers in the United States. You will handle high-volume calls, emails, and chats, following scripts while addressing product questions and upselling when appropriate.

The position is temporary with 20–40 hours per week, shifts from 7:00am to 9:00pm CST, and includes a $14 per hour base plus a $1 night/weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Previous 3-6 month(s) customer service or customer support experience preferred
• Previous 3-6 months call center or office background experience a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Quick learner and able to work independently
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
• Must be 18 years of age
• A background check applicable with state and federal laws will be required

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of inbound or outbound calls in a timely manner
• Take the lead in addressing customer questions and concerns on all products and services through phone, email and chat
• Follow communication scripts when handling different topics
• Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research and provide solutions and/or alternatives
• Access company and client resources to accurately handle the call
• Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
• Work across tasks without loss of efficiency or composure
• Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
• Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions
• Cross-train as requested
