Job summary

Dakota Software is seeking a Sales Development Representative for a fully remote role, open to multiple states including TX. You will own outbound pipeline in a B2B SaaS environment, leveraging an AI-driven system to research, draft messages, score leads, and update the CRM, while you provide judgment and outreach execution.

You’ll report to the Head of GTM and have a path toward GTM engineering as your technical skills grow, with a focus on automation, data quality, and scalable outreach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; or Sales Certificate.
• 1-2+ years in a B2B SDR/outbound sales role with demonstrated ability to cold call and book meetings.
• CRM software management and documentation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to tailor messaging.
• Excellent time management and self-direction with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated email drafts and calls; approve, edit, or override.
• Cold call high-priority prospects identified by the system.
• Book discovery meetings for Account Executives (8+ per month).
• Manage Apollo sequences and adjust targeting, messaging, timing.
• Triage inbound intent signals from Swan.ai to identify outreach
• Operate the SDR Autopilot system and monitor performance
• Maintain data quality in Attio and ensure pipeline accuracy
• Flag automation issues and propose fixes to Head of GTM
• Learn to build Zapier automations and contribute to prompt engineering
• Build dashboards and pipeline analytics for outbound activity
• Take ownership of GTM tooling projects as you grow
