Job summary

Dakota Software is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to own outbound pipeline in a fully remote role. You will operate and improve an AI-driven system that drafts messages, scores leads, and updates the CRM, with the aim to advance toward a GTM engineering path.

You will review AI outputs, make judgements, and drive outbound outreach while collaborating with Account Executives. The role emphasizes autonomy, learning, and growth in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; or Sales Certificate preferred
• 1–2 years in a B2B SDR/Outbound sales role with cold calling experience
• Comfort working with automation and AI tools daily, not just CRM
• Strong written communication and ability to edit AI-drafted emails for prospects
• Self-directed, autonomous SDR with significant responsibility and reporting to Head of GTM

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated email drafts and call talk tracks; approve/edit as needed
• Cold call high-priority prospects identified by the system
• Book 8+ qualified discovery meetings per month
• Manage Apollo sequences; adjust targeting, messaging, timing based on data
• Triage inbound signals from Swan.ai and decide outreach urgency
