Job summary

Dakota Software is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for a fully remote role open to multiple states. You will own an AI-driven outbound system to research, draft messages, score leads, and update CRM, while building a path toward GTM engineering.

You will partner with the Head of GTM, aim to book eight or more qualified meetings monthly, and continuously tune the automation to improve outreach effectiveness. Strong communication and self-direction are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields, or Sales Certificate.
• 1–2 years in a B2B SDR/BDR or outbound sales role with cold-calling experience.
• Comfort with automation and AI tools and data flow between systems.
• Strong written communication; ability to tailor AI-drafted emails to prospects.
• Intellectual curiosity about GTM systems and autonomy to work with minimal supervision.
• Self-direction in a one-person SDR role reporting to Head of GTM.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated email drafts and call tracks in Slack; approve, edit, or override as needed.
• Cold call high-priority prospects identified by the system; target 8+ meetings per month.
• Book discovery meetings for Account Executives.
• Manage Apollo sequences; adjust targeting and timing based on data.
• Triage inbound signals from Swan.ai for outreach priority.
• Operate SDR Autopilot and track performance metrics; maintain data quality in Attio.
