Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines linking source financial systems to a budget and forecasting platform. The role is full-time and fully remote in the United States, with travel under 20% and requires Public Trust clearance.

You will bridge raw financial data to actionable insights, leveraging ETL/ELT expertise and a deep understanding of financial data structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in data integration, CDS view development, ETL, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with SAP analytics and data platforms (SAC, HANA, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze source data and business rules.
• Write CDS views and SQL to transform, cleanse, and validate data.
• Implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance.
• Document data flows, specifications, and SOPs.
