Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that connect source financial systems to the budgeting and forecasting platform. This full-time, 100% remote role requires minimal travel and a Public Trust clearance.

You will work with SAP HANA, SAC, S/4HANA, and BW environments to build robust ETL/ELT processes, ensure data quality, and collaborate with client stakeholders to align integration design with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Experience with SAP analytics and data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load data into the budgeting platform.
• Analyze source data from SAP and government financial systems to understand structures and rules.
• Write CDS views, SQL queries, and scripts to transform, cleanse, and validate data.
• Implement data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot failures and optimize pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to align design with goals.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs.
