Job summary

SMX is hiring a Data Integration Specialist for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting source financial systems to the new budgeting platform.

You will work with SAP SAC, HANA, S/4HANA, and related tools to ensure data quality and timely delivery. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5+ years in data integration, CDS/SQL development, and strong communication skills for client-facing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and hands-on data integration experience.
• Strong ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and SQL scripting skills.
• Experience with SAP SAC, HANA, S/4HANA and BW is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines from source systems to the budgeting platform.
• Analyze source data structures, map data, and implement transformations in CDS/SQL.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across the budget solution.
• Monitor jobs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance within SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and document data flows and SOPs.
