Samsara seeks a Sales Engineer to translate our connected operations technology into customer value. You’ll immerse yourself in IoT hardware, sensors, and API integrations while guiding prospects through deployments and system integrations.

This role emphasizes quick discovery, strong communication with non-technical stakeholders, and collaboration across the sales and product teams. You’ll be involved in enabling customers with hardware deployments, cloud connectivity, and regulatory

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 1+ years in a pre-sales or technical sales role preferred.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems.
• Experience tinkering with hardware, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Become an expert on Samsara products and related technologies.
• Demonstrate quick, effective discovery to understand customer needs.
• Be highly available for demo coverage and cross-team tech input.
• Explain how devices are installed and integrated clearly to customers.
• Educate customers on technical aspects of APIs and deploy test scripts.
• Advocate for sales teams and translate technical feedback to product teams.
• Promote Samsara’s values during global scaling.
