Job summary

Samsara, a leading IoT company, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a diverse, technically minded team. You’ll engage with customers on logistics, fleet maintenance, and asset management, translating complex tech into practical solutions and demonstrating the Samsara Connected Operations platform on calls.

You’ll own discovery, guide deployments, and collaborate with the sales group to tailor technical demos, APIs, and integrations, enabling a winning customer experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products: IoT hardware, sensors, APIs, and installation practices.
• Demonstrate quick discovery to understand customer needs and answer tech questions on a single call.
• Be highly available for standard demo/account coverage across the Sales Team.
• Understand device installation and explain to prospects during demonstrations.
• Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts leveraging the Samsara API in testing environments.
• Act as a liaison between Product and Sales, translating feedback for beta programs.
• Champion Samsara values as we scale globally.

Education
