Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1+ years experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Well-versed in cloud software, networking, automation and control systems.
• Experience tinkering with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products: IoT and connected operations.
• Demonstrate quick discovery to understand customer needs and answer tech questions.
• Be highly available for demo/account coverage across the sales team.
• Understand how our devices are installed and explained to prospects.
• Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts to a testing environment.
• Advocate for AE's, prospects, and customers in internal discussions.
• Collaborate between product and sales to translate feedback.
• Model and embed Samsara values as we scale globally.
