Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as servant leader, facilitator, and coach for a complex Agile Release Train (ART) across multiple teams, aligning SAFe principles with business objectives.

You will facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt, coaching teams and leaders in Lean-Agile practices, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of related experience including 5+ years in Scrum Master/Agile leadership.
• Extensive experience leading Agile Release Trains within SAFe environments.
• Current SAFe RTE, SPC, or comparable certification.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
• Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilitator and servant leader for a complex Agile Release Train (ART).
• Lead and facilitate ART events such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.
• Facilitate PI Planning readiness through exploration, roadmap alignment, and backlog refinement.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Lean-Agile practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to align objectives and execution.
• Identify and manage program-level dependencies, risks, and impediments.
• Drive continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops and initiatives.
• Promote collaboration across teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
