Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator for a complex Agile Release Train (ART). You will promote SAFe principles, drive alignment with business and technology stakeholders, and enable efficient value delivery across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in Agile leadership roles (Scrum Master/Agile Coach/Release Train Engineer).
• Extensive SAFe experience and SAFe certification (RTE/SPC or comparable).
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facilitator for a complex Agile Release Train (ART) and SAFe ceremonies.
• Lead ART events: PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Lean-Agile practices.
• Align strategy with execution across Product Management, Solution Management, and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage program-level risks, dependencies, and impediments.
• Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt and improvement initiatives.
• Foster collaboration across architects, engineering, and business teams.
• Use Agile metrics and program health indicators to drive delivery excellence.
