Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support regional and national transportation projects. This remote role focuses on design, detailing, and analysis for local, county, and state roadways with potential Design/Build projects.

You will use Microstation and Open Roads Designer, develop typical sections and alignments, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with project teams and clients across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering (Highway/Roadway specific design) experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Development of typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Work with design team on design documentation, plans, and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering.
• Mentor junior engineers in design tasks and provide project oversight.
