Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support transportation improvement projects nationwide. You will design typical sections, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections, and prepare design documentation.

This remote role requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 4+ years of highway/roadway design experience, a PE license, and proficiency in Microstation/Open Roads Designer. You will mentor juniors and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering (highway/roadway design).
• PE license (GA license is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microstation and Open Roads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Collaborate with design team on documentation, plans, reports, and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering for design analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design quality.
