Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to support transportation improvement projects nationwide from a remote setting. You will design and detail roadways, perform geometric analyses, and develop design documentation using Microstation and ORD.

Requirements include a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, a minimum of four years in transportation design, and a PE license (GA license a plus). Some travel and mentoring responsibilities are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required; GA license a plus.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering (highway/roadway) experience.
• Proficiency with Microstation and Open Roads Designer is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Collaborate with the design team on plans, documentation, and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design quality on projects.
