Job summary

ABB is seeking a Regional Services Sales Manager to drive sales for Critical Power & Energy Solutions Services across the assigned territory. You will lead sales initiatives, build customer relationships, and deliver high-performance service solutions to improve system reliability and revenue growth.

The role reports to the Service Sales Director and is remote with up to 25% domestic travel. Strong prospecting, negotiation, and account management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Prospect, develop customer relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and close service opportunities.
• 5+ years of sales experience in Critical Power or related industries.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and expand market share.
• 3+ years of Salesforce experience managing pipeline and opportunities.
• Knowledge of UPS, static switches, PDU, spare parts, and service contracts preferred.
• Strong customer-focused communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, marketing, business or related field preferred.
• Domestic travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage customer and prospect relationships across target markets; serve as the primary outside sales resource.
• Drive direct sales activities: lead follow-up, strategic account planning, application discovery, cost justification, and system configuration.
• Deliver quarterly sales targets, manage territories and national accounts, and expand market share.
• Translate customer needs into service solutions and proposals aligned with priorities.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline data and coordinate quotes, contracts, and cost estimates.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close profitable service opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth sales-to-service handoffs and post-sales experience.
