Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to perform field service tasks, install and commission equipment, and troubleshoot complex power systems on customer sites. You will communicate timelines and expectations to ensure high customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for service improvements.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years in servicing critical power equipment.
Or an Associate degree with 6+ years of field service experience.
High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting within certified areas.
Install, commission, maintain, repair, upgrade, retrofit or replace equipment.
Identify opportunities for operational improvement and assist sales with needs.
