Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA for PV EPC projects. This remote role travels to Southwest sites to train field teams, perform audits, and document quality actions. You’ll implement the SOLV QMS, ensure AHJ compliance, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in solar QA, strong problem-solving, and effective communication. Expect travel, client interaction, and close collaboration with project teams to meet stringent standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in solar/renewable energy.
• Certifications such as ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, electrical construction, and safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with QMS and contract requirements.
• Lead audits and inspections of PV projects to ensure compliance.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes.
• Provide training on QA practices and company SOPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients.
• Document findings and report to management and clients.
• Perform frequent audits of documentation and installation procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPAs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
