Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects in the Southwest region. The role is remote with regular travel to project sites and client meetings.

You will develop quality plans, manage audits, training, and CAPA processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and SOLV SOPs. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans that align with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs, and contract requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems to meet standards, regulations, and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality with inspections and audits for adherence to standards, AHJ requirements, and installation instructions.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs, SWIs, MOps, and reference guides.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document and report findings; maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Become proficient in Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters on projects.
• Conduct frequent formal audits on documentation, reporting methods, procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D, implement CAPAs and monitor results.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
