Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC across PV EPC projects in the assigned region. This remote role requires travel to project sites, clients, suppliers, and regulators, with regular visits to the Southwest region for audits and training of field teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in solar QA/QC, strong electrical construction knowledge, and experience with QA management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in solar/renewable energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30 or Journeyman certification.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits for AHJ requirements and codes.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes in PV projects.
• Train project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs, SWIs, and MOPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality issues.
• Document inspections and audits; report findings to management and clients.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, processes, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
