Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects nationwide. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites in the Southwest region to train field teams, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with SOLV SOPs and industry standards.

You will lead quality planning, perform audits, and collaborate with managers, engineers, and clients to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in quality management in solar/renewable energy.
• Desirable certifications: ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma or PMP.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy's QMS and contracts.
• Establish and improve quality systems meeting industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits of PV projects in region.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes.
• Provide training on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs to project teams.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality issues.
• Document findings and report to management and clients.
• Proficiently use Sunscreen software for documentation and quality matters.
• Conduct formal audits of documentation, installation procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods; develop CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and compliance.
